Fritz Hansen Ant Chair

Simply brilliant. The Ant was originally designed in 1952 by Arne Jacobsen for the canteen at Novo Nordisk, a Danish healthcare company. The timeless chair now graces a variety of public and private spaces, and remains one of the most prominent icons in the collection. Though the minimal shape is slender and elegant, Ant is an extremely comfortable sitting chair at the dining table, desktop, or as side seating; the back has comfortable give and the waterfall-style edge doesn't press into legs. The stackable piece is available in a variety of veneers and surface finishes and sits on a three-legged chrome base.
