Fritz Hansen Grand Prix Chair

Named for fame. Fittingly named after the prestigious award it won at the Triennale in Milan, the 1957 Grand Prix was introduced by Fritz Hansen at the Designersí Spring Exhibition at the Danish Museum of Art & Design in Copenhagen. Danish designer Arne Jacobson showcased his understanding and passion for wood molding with this design, which is both aesthetically pleasing and incredibly comfortable to sit in. The shape will comfortably support the body and promote proper posture. The four-legged, stackable chair works in a wide range of public and private spaces, for dining, working, or simply sitting.
