Marimekko Green Potpuri Fabric

A designer with a flair for funky designs, Marimekko textile artist Erja Hirvi’s likeable prints have a unique sense of harmony. Her latest Potpuri print fabric is a prime example of how a patchwork design can take on a refined air. Thoughtfully designed, the Potpuri print revolves around the manipulation of a rectangle. In using different colors, placing the shape in a different direction and playing with the thickness of each stripe, Hirvi is able to create a geometric pattern that is playful and sophisticated. Create a throw pillow, wall hanging or new piece of clothing out of this fabric and receive a flood of compliments.
