Marimekko designer Erja Hirvi often dreams of beautiful gardens and is completely enraptured by the scent of flowers. These design inspirations come through in Hirvi’s 2010 Musta Ruusu (black rose) fabric. Musta Ruusu bursts with a bouquet of oversized roses in shades of plum and dark teal, against a black background. The fabric is luxuriously heavy 100% cotton sateen.
