More than a basic black and white umbrella, the Marimekko Ruusupuu Mini Umbrella uses black, white and hot pink to dazzle the eye. Dreary days are no match for Maija Isola’s 1957 print. Finnish for “rosewood,” the detail of Isola’s steady hand becomes apparent as you gaze at the black vines that interestingly intersect over the white canopy. Its small size make this umbrella easy to tote; stick it in your purse or briefcase and always leave the house prepared for any situation.
